There Are Several Structural Forms Of Steel Bridge Manufacturers
Jul 30, 2021
Steel truss bridge is our commonly used bridge form in urban pedestrian bridges, viaducts and overpasses. So how many truss forms are there?
There are five main types of steel truss bridges:
(1) The structure of rigid frame is divided into straight leg rigid frame (gate type) and inclined leg rigid frame.
(2) V-shaped pier steel truss bridge: In order to reduce the peak of negative bending moment at the pillar shoulder, the pillar is made into a V-shaped pier.
(3) Form with tie rods: In order to facilitate the use of cantilever construction and reduce the positive bending moment and deflection value in the middle of the span, a structure with tie rods at both ends is made, and the ends can be temporarily weighted during construction.
(4) T-shaped rigid frame: The upper beam of the bridge span structure adopts two-sided balanced cantilever construction on the pier. First, a T-shaped cantilever structure is formed, and then two adjacent T-shaped cantilevers can be used for shear hinges or spans in the middle of the span. Hanging beams with smaller diameters are connected into one body, which is called T-shaped rigid frame with hinges or hanging holes.
(5) Continuous rigid frame: If prestressed steel bars and cast-in-place concrete are used in the middle of the span to form a whole, it is a continuous rigid frame, also known as a continuous rigid frame continuous system, or a continuous rigid frame bridge for short.
