What are the steps involved in the construction of steel structure bridges?
(1) Construction of the starting section of the cantilever beam
1. In order to assemble the hanging basket or crane, support brackets are used to pour the beams of a fixed length on both sides of the pier. The construction bracket can be respectively supported on the pier, the platform or the reinforced ground according to the height of the pier, the form of the platform and the topography.
2. The hanging basket is composed of main truss, suspension system, anchoring system and counterweight, walking system and bottom formwork of working platform.
(2) Pouring of box girder concrete (cantilever pouring)
When pouring ribbed concrete, the ribs on both sides should be layered at the same time. When pouring the roof and wing concrete, it should be done from the outside to the inside at one time to prevent cracks.
(3) The main processes of cantilever assembly:
block prefabrication, transportation, refurbishment, hoisting and positioning, pre-stress tensioning, construction joint treatment, etc.
(4) Assembling seams of pieces
Assembled seams of blocks are generally wet seams and glued seams. High-strength fine-stone concrete is used for wet joints, and epoxy resin is used as joint material for glue joints
