The construction process of Bailey Bridge:

 

1. Assemble firstly, install the nose frame, and the Bailey bridge nose frame installation: first assemble the truss of the Bailey bridge on the rock that is pushed out of the bank, put one end of the truss piece on the rock, and place the other end on the temporary skid.

2. The yin and yang heads of the truss pieces are the same. Place the first beam behind the vertical rod at the front end, and insert the two rows of holes in the bottom of the beam into the studs on the bottom chord beam backing plate of the two truss pieces, and clamp it with the beam clamp. Do not tighten it temporarily, and tighten it after the diagonal brace on the beam is installed.

3. Install the second section of the truss piece. At the same time, the Bailey Bridge shall install diagonal braces on the truss beam of the previous section, and install the upper beam behind the vertical bar at the front end of the second section of the truss, and gently clamp it with the beam clamp. Tighten it, and then tighten it after the diagonal brace on the beam is installed.

4. Install the third section of the truss, and install the wind resistance rod on the first section of the truss section, and install the diagonal brace on the second section of the truss section beam. The nose bridge is installed in a cycle, and a total of four truss pieces are required to be installed as the nose bridge.

5. Bailey Bridge has introduced a winch traction. During the traction process, unified command, consistent steps, and coordination of operations are required. Check the operation of the rollers and the bridge at any time. If there is one, stop the operation immediately and continue until the problem is solved. Advance.

6. After pushing the bridge to its position, remove the nose bridge, use a jack to hold the lower chord of the bridge to seat, check the beret and tighten all support frames, beam clamps and wind-resistant rods.

7. Finally, the longitudinal beams, bridge decks, steel plates, etc. of the Bailey Bridge are laid.
