Jun 30, 2021
There are two types of Bailey Bridge, 321 type and 200 type. The bridge seat and seat plate are also. So how are they different?
Type 321 abutment: The end column of the bridge is supported on the axle beam of the abutment. The axle beam is divided into three sections. When a single-row bridge is erected, the truss end column is supported on the middle section of the axle beam; when a double-row bridge is erected, two bridges are used The seat and end columns are respectively supported on the middle section of the two axle beams of the abutment. When three rows of bridges are erected, two abutments are still used. Supported on the two side sections of the axle beam of the other bridge seat.
Type 321 seat plate: The seat plate is used to place the bridge abutment and evenly distribute the load from the bridge abutment on the foundation. Numbers 1, 2, and 3 are engraved on the edge of the seat plate, which respectively indicate the position of the centerline of the bridge abutment for single-row, double-row, and three-row bridges. On the other side of the seat plate is engraved the position of the centerline in the direction of the bridge.
200 type bridge seat, the seat plate is the same as 321 type, but the structure is a single body, and each bridge seat corresponds to a seat plate.
