Clean the defogger only when the pressure loss of the defogger increases significantly (beyond the allowable pressure drop). Each time the defogger is cleaned, the life of the defogger is shortened, so cleaning the defogger without a significant increase in pressure loss is actually a risky behavior. We know that most of the solid impurities that need to be removed are at the intake surface of the fiber bed (hanging outer surface, vertical inner surface).
Cleaning process of defoamer
First, the blockage of the fiber defogger is the ascending sulfur
- Place the defogger with significantly increased pressure drop horizontally or vertically in a clean water tank and soak it in 5% Na 2CO3 solution for 30 minutes, at which time foaming reaction will occur. (Keep away!) At the same time, the liquid is slowly stirred to facilitate the separation of the solid plug from the fiber layer.
- After soaking, remove the defogger from the water tank and place it horizontally, wash it with water at a low flow rate (the water flowing out of the pipe cannot have pressure) for 5 minutes, or place it in another clean water tank and soak it with water for 5 minutes;
- Place the defoamer with significantly increased pressure drop horizontally or vertically in a clean water tank and soak it in 5% Na2S solution for 30 minutes;
- Place the fiber defogger in a shallow clear water tank or wash it with low pressure water for 5 minutes.
Second, fiber defoaming device blockage for general solid or iron sulfate
- Place the fiber defogger in a solution containing 5% Ca CO3 for 30 minutes. This will cause a bubble reaction, but this will facilitate the cleaning process (the operator should stand on the back to prevent danger). Or place the fiber defogger in a bath containing a solution of Na 2CO3 for no more than 10 minutes, but agitate the solution. This will help the solids to disintegrate.
- After soaking, remove the defogger from the water tank and place it horizontally, wash it with water at a low flow rate (the water flowing out of the pipe cannot have pressure) for 5 minutes, or place it in another clean water tank and soak it with water for 5 minutes.
