The Bailey frame can be assembled from a large number of steel frame components. The length and width of the Bailey frame are generally 3m×1.5m. Let’s talk about the structure and scope of application of the Bailey frame.
Bailey piece-truss:
The truss is welded by upper and lower chords, vertical rods and diagonal rods. The ends of the upper and lower chords are provided with male and female joints, and the joints are provided with beret truss connection pin holes.
Bailey frame:
The chord of the truss is composed of two No. 10 channel steels (back-to-back). On the lower chord, a number of steel plates with round holes are welded. In the upper and lower chords, there are connections for the reinforced chord and the double-layer truss. Bolt holes, there are four bolt holes in the upper chord for connecting the support frame, the two holes in the middle are for connecting double or multi-row trusses with the same section, and the two holes at the two ends are the span sections. Used for inter-connection. When multiple rows of trusses are used as beams or columns, the joints of the upper and lower trusses must be reinforced with support frames.
On the lower chord, there are 4 cross-beam pads with tenons above them to fix the position of the cross-beam on the plane: two elliptical holes are also provided on the web of the channel steel at the end of the lower chord. Connect the wind-resistant rod for use.
The vertical rods of the truss are all made of 8# I-beam. There is a square hole on the side of the vertical rod next to the lower chord, which is used when the crossbeam is fixed by the crossbeam clamp.
The material of the truss is 16Mn, and each truss weighs 270kg.
Truss connecting pin and safety pin:
The truss connecting pin is used to connect two adjacent trusses. The weight is 3kg. There is a small hole for inserting the safety pin at one end of the taper.
Strengthen the chord:
It is mainly used to strengthen the load-bearing capacity of the truss chord. The material, the cross section and the truss upper chord are the same structure and the truss upper chord is different than the chord bolt hole seat plate and the truss chord hole seat plate.
A reinforced chord and two chord bolts are connected to the truss chord.
Chord screw:
It is used to strengthen the connecting bolt between the chord and the truss. The rod bolt is M36×18, the material is 16Mn, the shear resistance is 150KN, and the tensile force is 80KN.
Truss bolts:
It is used to connect the upper and lower trusses, which is longer than the chord bolt, and its structure is the same as the chord bolt.
Scope of application:
Type 321 Bailey Bridge
It is suitable for loads such as car-10, car-15, car-20, crawler-50, trailer-80 and other loads.
Type 200 Bailey Bridge
It is suitable for load design of car-10, car-20, HS15, HS20, crawler-50 and so on.
