Bailey Panel Components

"Bailey frame", also known as Bailey sheet, Bailey beam or truss, is used in national defense combat readiness, transportation engineering, and municipal water conservancy projects. It is the most widely used assembled load-bearing member in my country. It has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient transportation, fast erection, large carrying capacity, good interchangeability and strong adaptability.

What are its components?

1. Truss connecting pin and safety pin

It is welded by upper and lower chord rods, vertical rods and inclined rods. The ends of the upper and lower chord rods have male and female joints, and the joints have truss connecting pin holes. The chord of the truss is composed of two No. 10 channel steels (back-to-back). On the lower chord, a number of steel plates with round holes are welded. Bolt holes, there are four bolt holes in the upper chord for connecting the support frame, the two holes in the middle are for the connection of double or multi-row trusses with the same section, and the two holes at the two ends are for the span section. for inter-connection. When multiple rows of trusses are used as beams or columns, the joints of the upper and lower trusses must be reinforced with support frames.

2. Strengthen the chord

A reinforcing chord is connected to the truss chord by two chord bolts.

3. Chord screw

The bolts used to strengthen the connecting bolt between the chord and the truss are M36×18, the material is 16Mn, the shear force is 150KN, and the tensile force is 80KN.

4. Truss Bolts

It is used for the connection of the upper and lower trusses, which is longer than the chord bolt, and its structure is the same as that of the chord bolt.
