Each piece is 3m×1.5m in size, with male and female connectors at both ends, which are connected by connecting pins during assembly; to strengthen the stiffness of the joints, the joints are reinforced by connecting pieces, which are 0.5m×1.0m in size. It can be assembled into single-row single layer, double-row single layer, single-row double layer, double-row double layer and so on according to the need of force, and the upper and lower chords of truss piece can be reinforced with additional chords to meet the need of various loads.

Bailey sheet construction process_

During construction, the serpentine column (the column height is 1.5m, and the height of the bridge is 0.55m) is pre-buried on the pier column, and the steel plate is welded to install the I-beam on the serpentine column, and then Bailey Panelis  placed on the I-beam. Truss, three serpentine columns are pre-buried on each pier column. The beret is in the form of a double-row and single-layer structure (a total of four rows of beret trusses), in which the distance between the first row and the second row is 50cm; the distance between the second row and the third row is 3m; The spacing between the four rows is 50cm.

In the implementation of hoisting construction, the Bailey sheet is manually moved to the I-beam through the inclined plane of the lantern frame, which overcomes the process that cannot be completed by large cranes. During construction, in order to deform after pouring, a pre-arch of 4.5cm was adopted. Through actual implementation, the deformation result after pouring was 3cm, which met the requirements of bridge construction.
